Parks in Nice

Jardin Albert I is Nice's oldest public garden, stretching from Place Masséna to the Promenade des Anglais seafront. Palm trees, fountains and a bandstand create a classic Riviera green space ideal for a morning stroll or afternoon respite.

Parc Phoenix is a botanical and zoological park with one of Europe's largest greenhouses—a huge glass diamond housing tropical plants and free-flying birds. The 7-hectare site includes themed gardens and a lake.

The Promenade du Paillon is a 12-hectare urban park running from the National Theatre to Place Masséna, replacing a bus station with fountains, play areas, and a reflecting pool—Nice's green lung.
