Baños del Carmen is a charming 1918 bathing establishment and beach east of La Malagueta. Its calm, shallow waters, Art Deco structure, and mountain-backed coastline give it a nostalgic, timeless quality.

La Malagueta is Málaga's most central urban beach, stretching 1,200 metres from the port to the Baños del Carmen area. Its proximity to the old town, palm-lined promenade, and chiringuitos (beach bars) make it the city's most popular stretch of sand.

Playa de la Misericordia is a long, wide sandy beach stretching west from the Guadalhorce river mouth. Less touristy than La Malagueta, it is popular with Malagueños for its spacious feel, espeto barbecues, and cycle path.
