Xi'an's Muslim Quarter (Huimin Jie) is a vibrant neighbourhood centred on Beiyuanmen Street, home to the Hui Muslim community for over a thousand years. The narrow lanes brim with food stalls, souvenir shops, and mosques.
Qujiang New District is Xi'an's purpose-built cultural-tourism zone, radiating from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The district encompasses the Tang Paradise, Qujiang Pool, musical fountains, modern museums and landscaped parks — a concentration of attractions that can fill an entire day.

Defuxiang is Xi'an's main nightlife strip, running just south of the City Wall's South Gate. Craft-beer pubs, cocktail bars and live-music venues line the pedestrianised lane, creating a lively atmosphere that peaks around midnight.

Xi'an's Gaoxin (High-Tech Zone) has emerged as the city's contemporary cultural hub with independent coffee shops, design studios, and lifestyle boutiques.

Datang Everbright City (Datang Buye Cheng) is a modern pedestrian entertainment strip near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, designed in Tang-dynasty style with restaurants, bars, and street performers.
