Parks in Zurich

The University of Zurich's Botanical Garden contains 9,000 plant species from around the world in outdoor beds and three domed greenhouses—tropical, subtropical, and savanna.

Platzspitz Park is a triangular green space at the confluence of the Limmat and Sihl rivers, adjacent to the Swiss National Museum. Once notorious, it's now a peaceful urban park popular with office workers.

The Chinese Garden (Chinagarten) on the lake shore is a gift from Zurich's sister city Kunming, China—a traditional Chinese garden with a pavilion, pagoda, rockery, and koi pond.
