The Largo is a large-scale architectural ensemble of three monumental Socialist Classicist buildings constructed in the 1950s in central Sofia. The ensemble includes the former Communist Party headquarters (now housing government offices), the TZUM department store, and the Council of Ministers building.

Oborishte is one of Sofia's most elegant and leafy residential districts, centred around the embassies, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and Sofia University. Tree-lined streets and early 20th-century architecture give the neighbourhood a refined, almost Viennese atmosphere.

The area informally known as Sofia's creative quarter occupies the streets near the Women's Market and Lion's Bridge. What was once a rough neighbourhood is being transformed by artists, galleries, and independent businesses into a bohemian cultural hub.
