Parks in Bruges

Koningin Astridpark is a small, elegant English-landscape garden near the centre of Bruges. Named after Queen Astrid of Belgium, it features a central pond with a fountain, mature trees, and a charming Art Deco bandstand.

Magdalenapark is a spacious green retreat south of Bruges' canal ring, popular with locals for jogging, picnicking, and children's play. It offers a quieter alternative to the more touristic parks in the old town.

Minnewaterpark surrounds the Minnewater (Lake of Love), a romantic tree-lined basin at the southern edge of Bruges' old town. The park links the Beguinage to the old city walls and is home to the city's famous swan population.
