What Plennee Is (and Why We Built It)

Plennee is a free, privacy-first travel planning tool that turns your interests into optimized, day-by-day itineraries built on real data.

A short manifesto

Plennee exists because most travel planning tools are bad at the only thing that matters: giving you a day you can actually live.

They hand you a list of the top ten things in a city and walk away. You end up with twelve browser tabs, a crumpled map, a hotel concierge's hand-scrawled recommendations, and the quiet panic of realizing the museum you came for closes in forty minutes.

We thought travelers deserved something better. Not a booking platform. Not an ad-stuffed blog. A real travel planning tool — free, honest, and built around what you actually care about.

The problem with generic itineraries

Open any travel app or search for "three days in Paris" and you'll see the same thing: the Eiffel Tower at 10, the Louvre at 2, Notre-Dame at 5. It's the tourism-industrial complex at work — a funnel that herds everyone into the same queues, in the same order, at the same time of year.

Those lists aren't wrong, exactly. They're just shallow. They don't know that you love contemporary art and cold-water swimming. They don't know your partner wants to sleep in. They don't know that the bakery you'd actually write home about is a nine-minute walk from a place you've never heard of.

A personalized itinerary isn't a nice-to-have. It's the whole point.

What Plennee does differently

Plennee is built on three principles:

  • Your interests come first. You tell us what you enjoy — art, food, architecture, nightlife, nature, hidden gems — and the plan prioritizes those things. Not a predetermined list of monuments.
  • Real data, not vibes. Every place we recommend has verified opening hours, visit durations, and locations. If the gallery closes at 3 PM, we won't send you there at 4.
  • Math does the hard part. We don't hand you a list and leave you to sequence it. An optimization engine arranges your day to minimize walking, travel, and wasted time — so you get more of what you came for.

The result is an authentic travel experience that respects how you actually want to spend your hours.

Who it's for

Plennee is for people who want to plan well without spending their holiday planning.

It's for the solo traveler who's sick of filtering out sponsored posts. For the couple who can never agree on a day. For the parent who needs the museum, the playground, and lunch to line up. For the person who wants to find the one small thing nobody writes about — not just the thing everyone photographs.

It's not for people who want an algorithm to tell them what to feel. Plennee won't pretend to know your taste better than you do. It just makes sure the logistics don't get in the way.

Free to use

Plennee is free to use. That's the part that matters: you can plan a real trip without paying anything.

Give it a city. Give it your interests. We'll do the rest.
